What is there to explain?

It's obvious he was on a short leash. Les wasn't going to change his style and kept Cam at his own demise.

If you ask me Les fired himself. Timing was right actually and only thing Alleva did correct concerning Les the last two seasons.

How so? Why is right now better than the end of last season or the end of this season when it's easier to keep the recruiting class together?
