Heck of a lot of stupidity right here. Have you never even been to a football game? The white hat...ONLY THE WHITE HAT...signals to start the clock as he blows the whistle. Do you ever see him on screen during this play? He'll no. And yeah, since the QB has his back to him, he has to anticipate and call for the ball as soon as he hears the whistle.
The cluelessness of some LSU fans is mind boggling.

I was at the game. No need to watch it on the screen. Every official on the field thought LSU got the play off in time.
