That was 100% a TD if Tony just holds on. Tre White's back was turned and he didn't even contest the throw. Sean made an awesome back shoulder throw against a very competitive corner and Tony failed him.

I'll start by saying that wasnt a horrible throw on a demanding pass. Few things where we disagree

White wasn't playing the ball so his back being turned isn't wrong. Also, That would have been absurd catch had Stevens caught that while jumping over White. Few CFB WRs can even position themselves to make that play

An "Awesome" throw on a fade route is putting more air on the ball. If the WR has to turn and reach back for the ball it isn't "awesome" almost by definition

hopefully you recognize that Sean hitting Stevens in the hands on the 2 yard line was Sean making a nice redzone play

No arguments, just not a TD

you either werent at the game or you are basing this opinion on what you saw from the TV broadcast. Either way, you are wrong. It was a very catchable ball. The defender over ran the play when Tony stopped and the ball bounced off of Tony's chest, right through his hands. It should have been caught. The replay in the stadium showed as much.
