I think A&M is the only team that can challenge Bama this year in the SEC. Ole Miss is built to give Bama trouble... as they did... but Bama has already weathered that storm.

Watching Tennessee and LSU so far this year makes me think they have zero shot of beating Bama, even though they both get Bama at home.

I think folks are putting way too much stock into an Arkansas team that narrowly escaped Louisiana Tech at home, 21-20. La Tech just lost to Texas Tech last week by two touchdowns. The win over TCU was a bit of a fluke if you look at the game's statistics... plus TCU has not looked good so far this season. Beating Texas State means nothing. Arkansas may turn out to be alright, but I've seen nothing from them this season to make me think they'll compete with Bama for the West.

With Ole Miss essentially eliminated, it comes down to Texas A&M. They have a shot to beat Bama, though I don't see it happening in Tuscaloosa.

With all that said, I think Bama goes 12-0 and then gets beat in the playoff. The SEC is down this year, and I think Bama is also down. They are still at the top of the league, but I've never seen a Bama team make so many mental mistakes as they've made the last two weekends. Someone from another conference will win it all this season, and I'm starting to think it will be Ohio State.
