This idiot is singlehandedly trying to sabotage any ability for Ole Miss to recruit African Americans ever again with these Dixie and flag protests. This shite has to stop. I'm worried the Georgia game will be even worse.

The walk on DB?
I googled.. Holy shite this idiot.
frick I just read through his facebook page and I can't believe this guy got elected ASB president in 2016. That makes me more depressed to be an ole miss fan than football does.

Those positions seem wide open for anyone that wants it.
He's one of those people. So fricking annoying. Hope he breaks his leg.

Like I said, this shite has to stop. I am so tired of Ole Miss being the platform for confederate propaganda. It's freaking 2016.

Why the frick do people give this much of a shite about the flag?

I often see the "show your respect to our state" argument. I wonder what argument they'll use when the flag is voted to be changed eventually.

Most likely the "Liberals skewed the vote" type argument that was used when the bear was chosen as mascot. For the record, I still don't like the bear, but frick, I know when to drop it when it literally doesn't matter.

This is my argument. It's a public school for the state of Mississippi. And as long as it's the state flag it should fly over every college campus and anywhere else flags should fly.
But the moment it's change then it should come down and change with the rest of the flags. It's pretty common sense.

For so long Ole Miss inability to gain national prominence has had little to do with other schools, but OM gets in the way of its own growth.
Saturday when they pulled that flag out it literally spoiled the beginning of the game for me. I keep asking as a black male who loves OM, how do you expect me to defend OM when people call the school a racist school. How can I possibly defend it when people are still fighting for issues deemed racist?

I can only imagine how you must feel after seeing that. That really sucks.
I really wish those who are pushing to bring the flag around campus on a gameday would think about the bigger picture here and have some freaking self awareness of what they are trying to promote: a hate symbol used by the KKK and other anti-black groups.
I am so sick and tired of these self inflicted wounds people associated with Ole Miss continue to make on the school and our athletic programs.

Yeah it's really weird. You almost get this you don't belong here feeling. I don't think that is the message OM wants to send to potential AA or potential recruits. I'm from Oxford and the south so I "understand" what it means to some. I don't think that makes those individuals racist at all. What is disheartening is when individuals don't seem to care how others view it. It makes it extremely challenging to defend because what exactly can I say? Lol

Just change the state flag already

I would bet my life on the fact that another vote today would be in favor of change.

Blame the fraternities

Kids being stupid to be cool. I have no idea why someone would promote/objectify something that symbolizes something so divisive

I blame Trump. He has brought the worst out of people. It just rearing its ugly head. Ole Miss.... Two steps forward, three steps back.

Yeah, I get downvoted for saying the fraternities are one of the primary culprits for all of the bullshite that goes down with these issues. But nobody says anything to contradict me. I am not saying every frat guy is doing this stuff but it always circulates around them.

I don't doubt it Gnash. Seems like a whole bunch of "group think" amongst some dim-whits. If so I would hope the national leadership would reach out and let their chapters know that this is subject reflects poorly on them.
