Arkansas Razorback football fans are closet Alabama football fans. They have a deep respect for Alabama, and no hate whatsoever. They respect the fact that King Alabama won't be dethroned in the foreseeable future and they aspire to be Number Two.

i don't actively root for bama but that 2nd sentence holds true. to me, it's much easier to dislike those who just think they're good shite vs someone (some team) who is legit good shite.

To be fair, this is a relationship based on pragmatism as much as anything.
If Bama wins an NC, it elevates the conference brand but doesnt really hurt Arkansas since they've already won so much. Any other school winning the SEC and/or an NC helps them widen the gap between them and Arkansas or creates the gap.
Also, being a 1 loss team with a loss to Bama still leaves you a contender.
