Right now, TCU is benefiting from positive perceptions of the TCU teams of the past two seasons - people are still thinking of them as a high-flying offense coupled with a stout, headhunting defense. This year, they're a team with a totally meh defense and a QB who is a definite step down from Boykin. They're not good. I'd say they are a mediocre team overall this year.
