I think he's pretty clearly stated that "being loyal to the style" isn't some force field out of of the implications you're making.

Has he actually defended slams other than saying it's illegal and nuanced?
If he has, I'd love to see it. I still fail to see the difference between being slammed and being spiked by an uchi mata.
