So let's extrapolate current offensive production for the rest of the year:

Dobbs: 1698pyds, 24ptd, 12i/612rushyd, 12rushtd
Hurd: 1254rushyd, 6td
Kamara: 180rushyd, 0td/270recepyd, 6receptd
Malone: 762recepyd, 12receptd
Jennings: 42recepyd, 6 receptd

In regards to last year the only production that's comparable are Hurd's and Dobbs' rushing stats. Conversely, Dobbs will have 1000 fewer passing yards in addition to more than double the interceptions... Kamara will also have around 400 fewer yards along with 3 fewer TDs. Malone will have improved by 300 yrds but at the cost of other wideouts. I know we complained about passing last year but we had 2 400 yrd and 3 300yrd receivers.

We're not going to luck into 3 unforced (5 total) turnovers in every game we play. This offense is hot garbage at the moment and while the defense appears to be marginally improved I'm not sure it's to the level that our current offensive woes won't show. I have faith this team can get their shite back on tracck but Butch has to see that in yr 4 we shouldn't be having these issues with one of THE MOST VETERAN TEAMS IN THE COUNTRY. I foresee a changing of the guard in DeBored and Mahoney as well as bringing on a QB coach.

Offense has looked sluggish, but we need a larger sample size. Also, Appy State game seems like an outlier. Week 4 should tell the tale.

I agree, I just find it hard to justify offensive production at this point. If we come out flat again against Ohio then my hopes for UF are going to plummet.

Where in the hell are the quick slants to the middle? I don't understand man. Everyone is stacking the box and bringing the house leaving the middle of the field soft as hell yet we never go there. The read option play action over the middle is there so much of the time, but it's like that part of the field is off limits??

Where is any of the route tree? So far we have a couple of go routes to Malone, poorly thrown posts, and the usual ugly horizontal game. The coaches don't trust Dobbs at all to throw down field. Maybe it is justifiable, but I was expecting more from a senior with playing time every year.

As long as Dobbs is running the ball the team will put up enough points to win, though. Fix the middle of the oline and we will be fine, imo.

I don't know, I really don't. You would think that after last year's offensive production we would at least be able to replicate that same this year but it's obvious (until shown otherwise) that we've regressed majorly.
