Jesus I'm not cherry picking games; I just responded & agreed with another poster on the Navy & Auburn games about gap control.
Gap control in our 1st 2 games hasn't been good but neither has our tackling and we've had too many defensive penalties. All 3 can be fixed fairly easy but it takes discipline from the D guys. We have the talent, now we need the execution and all will be well in Zou land.

And again, I'm not stating the new scheme is poor in principle or the coaches are stupid for wanting to run it. I don't like it and I think it's a very poor fit for us specifically since our identity was based on disruption, but that wasn't the point of the OP.
The point about the defense being a mess was the infighting between players and coaches.
