100 yards receiving last week, a no-show this week until garbage time and he's returning punts?

WTF?

Even when I am encouraged by results, there are decisions by this coaching staff that outright mystify me.

What is mystifying? Did you see JJ and Wingo?

Not a fair comment.

Black has been special every time he's gotten the ball. Clearly looks like he should be in the top 3 in snaps and targets.

Thought is maybe the staff knows for sure Black is one of our main guys and they used tonight to give others as many snaps as possible to see who was reliable.

Either that or they're not interested in investing in him as a primary receiver because he's just here for a year.

He should've played more tonight.

I thought they were just holding him back because he's sort of fragile.

But then they put him in on a punt return, so who knows. Maybe he begged to let him in for that return.

I agree though, he should have gotten more time early on.

Simple. This game didn't matter. Gotta keep the dude healthy. He will have a bigger role next week. End of discussion

Then why is he fielding punts in garbage time?

Try reading the whole post in the future.

Really? Why did Alex Ross play early before being injured? Why was last week's top target J'Mon Moore playing? Why did Drew Lock take every snap at QB for three quarters?

To prevent injury?

Chris Black has a history of injury. If you did research you wouldn't have posted this stupid thread

...then why not play him earlier? Garbage time is full of sloppy play and opponents looking to make big plays to get more playing time in the future. Injury risk actually increases. That's why you pull starters.

I'm sorry but you are too stupid to be an actual Mizzou fan. You are hereby downgraded to a Tennessee Voluntears fan. Stick to posting about recruiting stars and things that happened decades ago. Leave real football analysis to people with an IQ in the triple digits.

You are the one who posted this dumb arse thread. Mizzou fans are now dumber for reading and I am for trying to explain your dumb arse why he got a few plays.

You tried to explain, but the explanation leads to only two conclusions:

1) you're right and our coaches are idiots
2) you're wrong and you're the idiot

I'm leaning to #2.
