I actually work for the company that owns BMS. When we announced in January that our NASCAR radio team (PRN) would be carrying the broadcast in conjunction with Touchdown Radio, BMS reps told us they had already sold 140K tickets and every single luxury suite.
I wouldn't be too concerned with people not showing up. This is an event that you go to to say you went more than how good your seat is. They've been talking about doing this kind of thing for 20 years, it just took until 2016 to make it happen.
