If LSU wins out (except for Alabama) and misses the college football playoff because of Wisconsin, I'm going to be pretty pissed.

Serious question - if that happens and LSU is 10-2, secures a decent bowl will Les be fired?

Hopefully. Richt got canned after a 9-3 season

The combination of 10-2 or 9-3, no SECCG, and retaining Miles is the absolute worst possible outcome. It will likely lead to his first losing season next year after the best from Fournette's class and all the seniors leave.

Yes we're terrified y'all may end up with a better coach than Nick Saban
Alabama is a blue blood hoss. Y'all are merely a fly in the ointment every now and then. Take a look at the series history. The last 5 years is the norm, not the exception

I agree, worst possible outcome if you are wanting Les fired but if he manages to accomplish 10-2 the "losing season" next year is an assumption - kinda hard to fire on assumptions...

I see all your down votes but these were my thoughts during the game. To me it was like Les wanted to win without giving away too much, talent would get them the W. Would have been nice if the team at least looked prepared and coached up on the basics

And how old is Nick? if LSU hires Jimbo or Tom Herman, y'all are fricked.

Losing season may be an assumption. But Anyone with half a brain who follows LSU would say next year will be worse than this year once the upperclassmen studs leave.
Yes, this could happen under the next coach as well, but if Miles is still here when it happens, especially with the same play calling, we will be right back where we are today with torches and pitchforks.

Y'all want Les to stay at LSU soo bad. Scared little gumps.
That's goofy. I doubt many Alabama fans care one way or the other whether Miles stays or goes, other than he seems to be a likeable guy, which accounts for zero on the football field. I certainly don't care.
Still, it would be interesting if he were to win all his games, which isn't likely to happen, but if that did happen, if would probably mean he won the national title. Let's be just a little more realistic and say he lost to Alabama and didn't make it to the playoffs. What then? My guess is he would survive another year.

If Les doesnt perform a miracle, he is gone. Pretty simple. Everyone knew that going into the season. 9-3, 10-2, whatever, not winning the conference and he is gone. Along with 50% of the players. This is it.
I just hope we keep Aranda, the rest can go.
