That's not exactly true. Beamer's best teams were built on dudes from Hampton Roads and Richmond. VT just hasn't gotten them in the past 5-6 years.

You mean Vick? Out of Bad News, VA? My theory is that he only went to tech because he couldn't qualify anywhere else.
