The blitz was a corner SS blitz. The FS was supposed to slide over but didn't. It was sort of a bust but the call was right. Hurts waited for them to come then released to Stewart seeing the fs stay center

that was a DA call by their DC. Hurts had already proven in the previous series that he is cool as a cucumber plus he has wheels to avoid the rush. I love what Hurts brings to the table and this may change our QB recruiting going forward.

Gotcha...I had figured one of the blitzing DBs screwed up, but I didn't think 'bout it being the free safety...

I'm curious to hear how you know what USC's call was and that the call was right. Herbie disagreed with you on the broadcast as to what went wrong with the D on that call.
