You said my post was false because Texas is looking to fire Charlie, which has nothing to do with my post.

They will have recruiting momentum if they go 8-4 and keep Charlie or go 8-4 and hire Herman. They will have their pick unless we give people a GREAT reason to look our way, like a 10 win season.

Again, you keep trying to make gotcha posts with non-sequiturs.

You act like 8-4 is more likely than 5-7, it's not. Both are equal possibilities for them at this point, most would probably give the edge to 5/7

I didn't enjoy today's game, but would have enjoyed it even less had we lost.

No school that is firing half the staff or the entire staff is going to have great recruiting momentum.

Either Charlie stays and he has a new defensive and special teams staff or he gets fired and a new coach has to scramble to keep current commits as well as add others.

It's also pretty damn pathetic that you seem to assume Herman is going to Texas if Charlie is fired and that it automatically means we are screwed. Maybe he goes to LSU, maybe USC, maybe he stays. You have no idea what he is going to want to do.

So yea, it does have everything to do w/your post b/c you live in a magical fairy land where no matter what happens Texas has all the momentum and A&M is fricked. It doesn't matter what happens b/c you've already drawn your conclusions and will forever work backwards to make sure there is a way to justify just how screwed you think A&M is.

It's a good thing you aren't involved w/the team b/c your needlessly defeatist and negative attitude is the exact kind that poisons a team and ruins it beyond repair.

I don't get why people are just assuming that Herman is going to leave Houston. He already makes 3 million and if Houston joins the Big 12, he becomes the fourth highest paid coach IN THE NATION. He seems to love working there and Houston will do everything they can to match any offer he gets so why can't he be the Gary Patterson type and stay at the smaller school?
