To me the biggest issue is the QB.

But we take good QBs and turn them into ghosts of themselves.

As a thought experiment, imagine that Brandon Harris chose to attend ... let's say ... TCU. He sits behind Boykin for a couple years and this is his first year starting. Is Brandon Harris a good QB for them this year? Or does he play like a scared child?

I think Harris would be a perfectly good QB in another system or another team that didn't destroy his confidence.

Yea I think so too. Harris' pure physical tools are good enough. His brain is just scrambled at this point.
