I'm not taking up for him but he may have thought the play was still live...you never know if he actually saw the guy go down

And being the team player he is, he was the only player running to make the stop, right?

The guy had the ball raised above his helmet in 1 hand and was high stepping in open field, I'm sure it looked like the play was live. Get the frick out of here, dude should have been arrested

Boutte hit the Wiskey guy that way because he knew he'd get in trouble with Les if he hit Harris that way which is what he really wanted to do.

It was an unfortunate incident. I do believe he knew exactly what he was doing and did it out of frustration. Unfortunately, it will tarnish LSU's image.

les is defending him. Its another reason we should fire les

Is he? Has he said something today? The only quote I saw yesterday was to the effect that the player disputes the call and he (Les) would have to review tape, which was absolutely the right answer at the time.

Of course, if he doesn't come to the conclusion that the player is lying his arse off, then there will be a problem. I watched the video multiple times to ascertain exactly what was happening. One LSU lineman had his back to the play (not a good look) and could argue he didn't see the defense guy hit the ground during the interception. Of course, every other LSU player on the field acted exactly like players act when the ball is dead, which would have been a clue. But cheap-shot guy was looking right at the play. There's no grey area there.

I think he will get suspended for at least one game, I'm hearing it will be after one after the OleMiss game.

That's not true, is it? That's some bs if it is.

Sadly it is true and it is some BS!!! The guy needs to be kicked off the team. It sucks to be an LSU fan right now . I'm not sure why I thought that Les was going to finally see the light after almost getting fired last season, but Miles is nothing but lies. He hasn't changed anything and never will. LSU needs to pay him and cut him loose immediately. I don't even care what our record is the rest of the way, Miles refusing to change our offensive approach is evidence enough for me that LSU will never position themselves where they strive to be again with Miles as coach!

It was one of the worst cheap shots I've ever seen. He hit him with a forearm to his head/neck and helmet to helmet. He should be suspended for at least 4-6 games.

You had a player stomp on someone's stomach with his cleats

That guy should be kicked off the team. He hit a 160 pound db 30 seconds after the play was over. He could have easily broke that guys neck.
