I think it was against Arkansas and Saban was a new coach at a frustrated Alabama who had been subpar for several years. Bama was behind by more than a td and Saban opted for a field goal. The Bama boo birds came out in full force. Bama ended up winning late in the 4th and Saban went on his show and called out the Bama fans, and it was the last time Bama fans did it.
It was the point I realized Saban was in complete control of Bama's program. I hope Butch addresses it with the UT faithful. I believe you, by the way. I thought it was odd that UT was booing, and i figured there was something I was missing. It still made UT look bad, and let's face it UT's offense was looking bad enough. UT will get better and their talent will start to show and in less than month, everybody will forget that awful first half of football.

Thank you. I have no reason to make that up as I knew some would downvote the hell out of me for it. I didn't expect it to get as passionate though.

I agree that it made us look bad and really there's not much to do about it after the fact other than maybe what you said. Have Jones address it and remind fans that perception matters and that fans at home can't see what fans in the stadium see.

Our entire team was looking bad although offense particularly so. OL play was just pitiful, though I'm happy to find out that some who've rewatched the game have said it our center Coleman Thomas who was the main culprit - that's more fixable than the entire line.

We'll get grilled this week and the team earned a good grilling but it will be forgotten so long as we're back to normal for Va Tech. And to be honest, if we'd went on to Bristol with the attitude that we could overlook people we'd have lost an even bigger game.
