1. The defenseless receiver/targeting penalty on JRM. What a load of fricking shite. Throw your damn arm up if you don't want that clock cleaned on a punt return.

2. Reviewing the Josh Smith catch/no catch AFTER we had already completed another play and the whistle for the review didn't come until afterwards. I mean, what kind of god damn circus were the refs trying to put on? The offense literally had time to run 30+ yards to the LOS, get set and complete a play and these fricks wanna be like"nah, jk, we need to review some shite".

I don't really care about our reputation or whatever. Just about everything that could've went against us did and that App State team was far saltier than any of us could've possibly imagine. I'm glad we got out of there with W and no major injuries, as far as we know. Snap and clear, onto Bristol. GBO

Won a game vs an 11 win team with only read options where Dobbs wasn't allowed to keep it. Mission accomploshed IMO

Also don't get the JRM ejection, the returner doesn't signal fair catch and fricking crouches, where is Jalen supposed to hit him

Ironically Dobbs might be hurt.

The first point is what it is, the original penalty was bullshite but like the rule or don't it was textbook targeting. Sucks but they don't seem to have a better idea to make the sport safer atm

The second part is bullshite and I really hope it doesn't become more common

I'm still pissed about Preston's TD.

Why? Pretty obvious incomplete IMO

Not trying to be a dick just trying to find out if there's something else

What in the hell is the rule in the endzone? That was never addressed directly in the post game shows. He did have control of the ball with two feet on the ground at one point. Is it not a touchdown the instant someone with possession breaks the goal line?

I've never seen a situation where that's not a TD. I think the officials on the field fricked up but replay can't overturn them without enough evidence and no way that was gonna happen. They'll save Birmingham making a call for someone else.

Maybin was already committed...I get that...but there are two ways to avoid getting hit...signal for a fair catch, or drop to a knee. I the whistle should have blown as soon as the kid caught it with his knee down.

In my opinion...UT had a bad night...SEC Officiating had a much worse night.

The review after a play was ran rustled the shite out of me. That's like saying "hold up, might have spotted the ball wrong two quarters ago"

Lol we looked like hammered dog shite and were lucky to win. That was really, really bad football. The defense finally adjusted and got stops, offense was putrid.

A lot to work on this week. I think this team will be fine, but certainly many concerning things from last night.

I mean anytime to complete a catch you have to "maintain possesion" through the end of the catch or however the second part goes

He clearly didn't do that
