The questions are: Is Chubb back to form? And even if he is, will a one-dimensional game plan be enough?
Very good question. Luckily we have a deep RB corp. Sony could start on any other SEC team execept LSU and Alabama. Holyfield is a beast and I've heard good things on Herrien.
Last year, not only did we have a bum for a QB, but we also had a bum for an O-Coordinator. When teams were stacking the box with 8 or 9, he refused to throw it down the field. PA was Richt's bread and butter, but Schottenheimer didn't utilize it is such situations.
With Eason's arm talent, there is no reason not to test down the field when the box is stacked.

You don't need to be 50/50 on offense to beat UNC, they can't stop the run. Baylor had 650 rushing and 111 passing and they won.
That's been said already, and Baylor's offense was a lot better than UGA's last year or this year.

I really don't think RB will be as much a strength for UGA as what some think.
RB is very deep. Don't discount Michel's skills. He's one of the more versatile players in the conference. Our 2 freshmen are very talented as well.

UNC was 3rd in the ACC in pass D and Eason is a freshman.

THUGA will never beat the Heels as long as this man is UNC's DC:

We lost one of the best rb's in the country whenever you lose someone that good your offensive play will go down. Now he's back with an even deeper rn core and a better QB on our roster.

Which is where play action comes in. I would imagine we would pound the ball and bring their safeties up, then hit them with play action when necessary. Eason has an arm and we've got some talented (but young) receivers.

Scam Newton is the only reason y'all won that championship.

Yes, I'm sure UNC has never heard of the play action pass.

Good enough to play full contact in practice. If your healthy enough to do that your healthy enough to run against the 118th rush defense.

SO has every D-coordinator yet it's still effective. Ask Alabama.

Alabama mixes it up a lot these days. Did you stop watching them in 2012?

I expect to do the same as well, but when you're going against the 118th run defense, you don't have to overthink it, especially when you have a freshman QB.

I do think UGA will beat UNC, but it will be closer than y'all think. I've just been playing devil's advocate because you guys are acting like Georgia is an absolute lock to win, which they aren't. But believe it or not, I will be rooting for you guys.

I don't think that at all. I think this will be a close game. I've been saying that for a while now. I don't think we are a lock at all to win. There are a lot of question marks. But like you, I think we will win.

You would be making a good point if you pointed that out. Doesn't change how poor the vandy point was.

Oh, wait. You said Scam Newton. Never-mind

Vandy had 4 games where they averaged more than 5.9 YPA, 3 if you're counting FBS teams only.
295 yards was Vandy's 2nd highest total on the season, first if you're counting FBS teams only.
