7 years ago Mullen would be at MSU for 2 years then bolt. Since then every year he is said to be leaving after this season, and the next season and the next season.
There is a missing element in this, his young kids. He and his wife love thr school system in Starkville where being a smaller town the kids get more attention. His kids are everything to him and I don't see him pulling them to go elsewhere in a new school system when they have been growing up in Starkville.
ETA: His wife, I've heard her speak enough about life in Starkville where she says how down to earth people are and a great place to raise children. Her own parents have recently moved to Starkville. That says a lot to me.
