I read some of Kiffen's tweets, and he still seems pretty childish to me.It is one thing for fans to talk trash to rivals, but another for coaching staff. Holding his hands up before a long td pass, because he likes the match up, is childish as well. I am glad to have him as Bama's oc, but he is still too immature to be a head coach at a major university. USC hired him because they were on probation and nobody else would coach there.(like Mike Shula at Bama). I am not saying he won't get another chance, he is still a young coach, but it might be a while before a big time program would take on chance on him.

Agreed. Occasionally, I think Saban needs to treat him like his last purebred douche, AJ, and spank him on the sidelines. His long-term success depends on him maturing. His personality may be his biggest fault. That's my only hesitation about him potentially being Saban‘s replacement.
