But the last time the East put up a good fight was UGA vs Bama in '12, not '13 as I may have implied.

Mizzou put up a pretty decent fight against Auburn in 2013. I mean, wasn't Mizzou either leading or behind just a few points going into the 4th Quarter?

That's what you are basing your claim upon ... the game in Atlanta?

Well ... ok, whatever.

What if we looked at end-of-season final rankings instead? You know, like knowledgeable fans might do.

One game very rarely can legitimately be used to judge an entire season. I mean, for instance, last season SCAR beat UNC who should have beaten Clemson in the ACCCG who played Bama for the national championship.

Does The East get toughness points for that win, by SCAR, in your book?
