Philosophically, there can be no "love" without "hate", no "good" without "evil," no "smart" without "dumb," and no "sophisticated" without "hick-redneck." If everything were equal there would be no best or worst. "Best" can only exist if there is something that is "less-than-best." And once a hierarchy exists, there must be something at the bottom of the heap of "less-than-best" to be called "worst."

So actually Auburn serves a very useful purpose in the SEC. By being universally hated, evil, dumb and hick-redneck, they illuminate and define the programs that are loved, good, smart, sophisticated.

Auburn, serving God's purpose even if it is the lowest common denominator.
