The two year requirement(of the two notated in smiths case) is used all the time.

As far as the SEC school to another school case, that exception is dependent the original school. So it depends on the coach to grant that exception to the rule, but again part of the process. its not really breaking or changing a bylaw. But in a perfect example Chris black.

The Chris Black situation was totally different than this one though, but more power to the kid though I just hate the way he and his family went about getting the transfer. Personally and this is just a belief its not a fact whatsoever, but I believe Kirby was in this kids ear trying to poach him from Saban the whole time. Its funny how he doesn't want anyone to transfer to their coaches old school even when its out of conference but he has no problem when its to his benefit.
