From what I witnessed, he was proficient at heaving balls down field to allow the speedsters to catch up with it. Other than that, he was out of his element. LSU must see vast improvement at the QB spot to realize any of the hype to date.

Improved yes but vastly no. He should be around 60 percent completion which he was just 1.5 completed passes more a game last year from doing that. That is 18 more completed passes for the whole year. That isn't a vast improvement.
