LSU has better RBs and that's it. Every single publication has Bama WR over LSU's. LSU secondary was garbage last year. Brandon Harris is awful no one in the SEC would trade their starter for him.

Talent gap is as wide as it has been since Saban got to Bama.
The game last year showed that and this year will show it again.

I agree with last year showing a huge talent gap.. the thing is, as players get 5% older, they tend to get at least that much stronger, and improve at the sport of football to an even higher degree. LSU was YOUNG last year. With expected average improvement across the board, this should be about as close to BAMA talent wise they've been since 2011.
Should be a great game.

I'd bet you Derek Mason would trade whoever Vandy's starting QB is for Harris.

Seriously, does anyone even know who Vandy's QB is? Has anyone heard of him before?

Even better question: Does anyone care?

You of all people are not qualified to make such a stupid statement. I though you Vandy guys were supposed to be intelligent...

In these publications you speak of I saw three different all american teams.

There was only one DB from either bama or LSU that was named first team on any of the three. His name is Jamal Adams and he is named first team on all three. T White made second team CB on at least one. No bama CB listed as second team all american.

As for their three all SEC teams, two of the three had Adams and White as first team. One of the three had Adams first team with White second team. bama safety was only tide DB named to all three first or second team.

I can see why you think so poorly of LSU secondary.

Which of the two secondaries do you think returns more passes defended per game?

One of those mags had Dupre and Dural listed as the #3 and #4 draft eligible WRs in the country.

If I remember correctly it took a personal best FG right before half to give bama the lead.

What last year showed was that bama had the deeper roster. With all the losses by the tide on both sides of the ball the same can't be said for this year.
