re: Should 6-6 teams be allowed to go to bowls?

By keeping this rule, it has scared every SEC AD, except for Bama's, from supporting a 9 game conference schedule . Hence, instead of say, more Florida -Bama games or Georgia - LSU games or Auburn - Tennessee games, we are treated to more Bama- Chattanooga games, etc.
It sucks in the long run to have to have a certain record to play a bowl game. I say just allow the top X number of teams in the conference that go to bowls.
