You're correct. the hit was nothing special, it was how he landed. If he had not gotten hurt, nothing would have been said by anybody.

People just want to sound tough, and wishing injury on a player makes them sound that way. People that wish injury on a player usually have never even walked on the field.....except maybe after a high school game.
