Kinda in the same boat. We live in a historic district with 150+ year old homes. Kinda cool, kinda sucks.
These awesome 400k houses pop up out in the suburbs that we keep thinking about moving out to but between what I know the mortgages are out there and the crap I hear the HOA pulls on them I have no desire to mess with it.
