I'm thinking that could go the other way. Long, weird midseason road trip that MSU probably won't be fully focused for against a solid team playing at home in a game they'll need to win to have a chance at bowl eligibility.

BYU may have one of the 5 toughest schedules in the country this year.

I don't think MSU is great by any means but they are pretty good defensively. Byu is very average.

BYU is not a pleasant experience for anyone. They sometimes have a bunch of 23-24 yo players that play better in the 4th qtr. I think it was dumb to schedule them for a home and home, since we've done it before, and had a bad officiated game.
