I guess a coach who yells is taboo now.

Our high school football coach used to hit players over the head with a hard clipboard during games right in front of parents. He'd grab them up like he was going to rip their heads off. He'd yell obscenities throughout the entire game.

And guess what? That coach won multiple state titles and not one parent complained.

That was our way of life in my hometown.
