You're right. You've never played football. You are an armchair, Monday morning quarterback that sits back and criticizes players while knowing nothing about the game. Thanks for all of your valuable insight.

Even Reggie Davis would tell you that I am right and you are wrong on this. That's why he laid face down on the turf with his hands on his head after doing it against Florida when they scored off his idiocy. He knew what a fundamentally stupid decision he had just made. And his coaches did. And his teammates did. And his family did. And God did too. Everyone but you apparently. Congrats.

one of the big turning points for me with richt. After that (probably the 3rd or 4th awful return decision RD had made that year) we patted him on the butt and said "good job!" as he headed towards the bench. No dog cussing, no arse chewing, no getting in his face telling him why he fricked up. Just "oh well buddy, we'll get em next time".

No he wouldn't. Wait. Would he say he made a poor decision? yes. Would he also say he made the decision on a split second and he wished ha had done something differently? yes. It's always easy to look back at a bad play and wish you had done something differently. Think about it, Jeff. Had he had time to properly assess the situation, he would have done it differently. It's easier to see stuff on a television screen than it is on the field. I've been there. I've played, and I know this for a fact.

I didn't say he didn't make a poor decision, so don't try putting words in my mouth.

This whole thing started, though, because you made the sarcastic comment about him being humble because of the decision he made. His being humble or not had nothing to do with the decision he made.
