at you for thinking that Johnson could run a lemonade stand, much less a country

I don't know the first thing about Johnson. I never said he would or should win. It would just send a message that this two party system is so fricking broken that the two options they gave us are Hillary and Trump.

Which figures - since you know nothing about the difference between a globalist and nationalist.

Come on. Trump is like a good Family Feud contestant. He just says what he thinks the masses want to hear.
(Inner monologue: They hate immigrants because "they took our jobs") "I'll build a wall!" (shite, they want less government spending) "I'll make Mexico pay for it!"

And then, of course, there is Billary and all that money under the table. Got to hand it to you, you know how to pick your candidates

You think I support either of these clowns?

If you think throwing a vote to Johnson is reasonable, then yeah, you are definitely casting your vote for Billary

Considering I would never vote for Trump, it would be closer to taking a vote away from Hillary. Regardless, I live in Alabama, so my vote is going to Trump no matter who I mark on the ballot.

You clearly have no idea what is at stake in this election. And don't take me for a Trump-shill. I just happen to think so terribly of Hillary that I would vote for a scarecrow if it meant possibly defeating her

I think you may be voting for her puppet.

but you'd have to be the dumbest mutherfricker in the country to vote to put a Clinton back in the White House.
I feel the same about voting to put Trump in the White House.

It's more likely than either of them being a better president than the other.

Trump has been consistently isolationist and nationalist for decades. He isn't just saying these things. He is anti-TPP, pro-Immigration enforcement, and will run this country the way it should be run before the blight of corruption rotted away the foundation of this country.
The man literally can not be stumped. He is un-stumpable.
Don't believe me just watch. 4D chess.

Np thx for the quick response.

But a throwaway vote is somehow more intelligent
Playing into a rigged 2 party system that was forced down your throat isn't very intelligent either. I vote for the candidate that I believe aligns best with my values. Period.
Over 40% of Americans are registered as independents, for the first time in US history. Think about that for a second. Sorry, I refuse to be a pawn and vote for someone I actually don't believe should be president.

Actually I'd be casting my vote to Johnson. Quite literally.

And that is fully your right... however, it remains my right to think you are an idiot. Whatever point you think you are making is lost when the stakes are this high

It could have an influence on future votes. Let's say the two main parties get 41% and 39% of the popular vote, and whatever this third party is gets 20%. That would tell me that this third party could be a major player 4 years from now if they are allowed to get any air time.
Doesn't matter at all until you've won something at the local level. From the ground up is the only way it would ever succeed.

what do you dislike about him?
He's accomplished quite a bit, especially when you consider New Mexico is controlled by Dems.
