It's been about 10 years since I've been but I think it's still the same.

There are batches of 4 or 5 games at a time and the lotteries are usually at 9 or 10 on a random Monday or Tuesday night. Everyone the enters the gym gets a number. Once everyone is in they draw the lottery positions in groups of 50, 1-50, 51-100, 101-150, etc. and post the order for everyone to see. If you're near the bottom you go home an hope there are tickets left the next morning.

I think now for students you register online, then if you receive notice you go to Memorial Coliseum on a Monday night (they do the lottery in blocks of games), and the if they draw your number you can purchase tickets that night.

For non-students, you put your name in a lottery for season tickets but that only applies to the very small number of season ticket holders who don't renew. So it could be years before you even get considered. Renewal of season tickets costs around $1200 a seat I believe.
