Does having an outstanding college career and it not translating to the NFL count as being overrated? I don't think so. If it is you could put a ton of bama players
Claiborne is not overrated. You absolutely could not throw to his side in 2011. Was even a better pure cover corner than Patrick Peterson
I've always kind of thought the same on Dorsey if I'm being completely honest. Give me Chad lavalais all day. Dorsey seemed to disappear in a lot of big games *ducks*

Won the Naguraki, Lombardi, Outland, and Lott trophies. Was a finalist for the Bendarik that season. SEC defensive POY, 2 time first team all SEC, two time first team all American.
Half of is senior year was played on one leg, thanks to frick boy Tubberville and his POS players.
179 total tackles, 27 for loss and 14 sacks, for an interior linemen.
Going into his 8th season as a pro.

Aaron Murray
Knowshown Marino
Tyler Wilson
Mark Ingram
Derrick Henry
Eddie Lacey
Keiland Williams
Russell Shephard (for the hype)
ETA: An underrated player would be a better topic.

To call this thread bad is an insult to bad threads.
You should be ashamed.

Mallett's the only guy on his list that didn't make first team all-SEC at least once in their college career (second team behind Cam).
I don't think the OP understands the meaning of "overrated"

If we’re talking LSU, there are certainly some overrated players in the last 10-15 years, but Dorsey isn’t close to being one. He was unstoppable until he was chopped by Chaz Ramsey.

How has no one mentioned the Freak, Anthony Johnson, yet? That dude is one of the worst repetitive starters LSU has had on the DL since the Dinardo era.
That guy was a worthless turd every year, but he was on every preseason hype list cause he was a high profile recruit and had a catchy nickname.

You mean the player that sued Auburn and then ran to HBO with a story about $100 handshakes? I'd hardly call him 'his player'.
And that really hurt his career too, considering he was the 5th overall pick in the draft (who went on to be a major disappointment for my Chiefs like pretty much every other LSU player they've drafted.

Oh, easily that defensive end from aTm that's playing right now. Miles Davis, or whatever his name is.
Bum didn't do shite against Arkansas last year. And since I only watch Arkansas games, that's all I care about.

Honorable mention would be Leonard Fournette.
Two years ago he damn near got Four Net Yards against the Hogs. He tallied a whopping NINE yards.

Well, I guess you're right. I guess he did suit out, but that's about it.
Dude's a damn bum. And he is going to take the Clowney route this year and take half the plays off. That will be the excuse anyways. Watch and see. The problem with a team like South Carolina and Jadaveon Clowney, or aTm with Miles Davis is that unless you have someone else on the OTHER END of the line, teams can just scheme away from the "stud" and he is taken out of the game. If that happens, and the guy happens to also be a diva, you get the Clowney result. ... a guy who is too big for his britches. A bitch.
