Regardless of all that, what DOES have have the lot of you excited about this year other than a generally consistent Fournette? Has the defense shown improvement or is there some kind of wrinkle being promised to thrown in?

Same thing that has had them excited for the last 5 seasons.

Hope.

We've seen this movie before. LSU will "look better than Bama" early and "have more talent than Bama", they'll swear up and down that this is their year and they'll beat Bama. Their RB will run all over our defense and they'll end the dynasty.

Then comes the game and their RB gets held in check and they lose. Sometimes in a tight game, sometimes by multiple scores. Should be a tight one this year.

Next comes the excuses. I'mm 99% sure they will bitch about refs. The wise among them will once again bow their heads and accept that Saban is the man, others will hold out for a while. Then come Spring ball they'll slowly start falling back into the belief that it'll be their year. Then eventually they HAVE to be right, and they'll think they're smart for "calling it" when they just keep calling it every year.

It's the same every year. I didn't just lay that cycle out to mock LSU, we've all seen it on here and it always goes the same. Maybe they win this year, they have a damn good looking team, but until the clock hits 0 and they're declared the winners it's just the same sad cycle over and over again.

What does this mean?

You don't understand people being fans of a team?

What does this statement mean?

As an LSU fan, I can argue with none of this.

That said, aggie fans should feel the same way toward us.

This has been said every year? Interesting.

you do know that the last time we played in tiger stadium LSU outrushed bama. So, LSU has had recent success rushing the ball VS the tide.

In fact three of the four games in baton rouge since saban took of the tide LSU has outrushed bama heads up.

Tigers have run the ball against bama in the past and will do so again in '16.
