Fitz is maybe, slightly faster than Dak. Dak ran a 4.74 40 at the combine. Fitz might run a 4.7. (he was listed at 4.65 as a recruit, but you know you can't trust those numbers). That's decent speed for a big guy, but not blazing fast.

In HS, Fitz was just so much bigger than everyone else that he bowled them over. Not gonna happen in the SEC.

There may not be much difference in straight ahead speed but from what I saw of him last year I thought he looked noticeably quicker than Dak. I think it will be a different looking offense than it was last year, with him being inexperienced and more likely to just take off running as soon as protection breaks down. Might not be a bad thing.

4.7 is pretty fast for college ball.

Day (6'4/296) started 46 games as the Bulldogs' center, but was never recognized as an All-SEC player by the conference's coaches. He was a scrappy technician in college, winning with toughness as opposed to athleticism or strength. Day isn't an NFL starting-caliber center and doesn't move or drive block well enough to excel at guard. He's likely to have a brief pro career where he's constantly fighting for roster spots.
