re: Best player your team played last year

I'm gonna go with Alex Collins and Arkansas' Oline. Our guys came out flat that game but even if they hadn't that OL just absolutely wore our DL out. Our MLB Darrin Kirkland Jr. (who I'm telling y'all is an absolutely special player and I mean that this guy is going to be a giant of the game if he stays on course both at UT and in the NFL) said that the Arkansas was the only game where he felt like a freshman. The experience and size of Arkansas' OL combined with the instincts, speed, experience, and sheer will of Alex Collins simply overwhelmed and ground down a young and emotionally deflated DL.

It was downright funny at times watching three true freshman - two true frosh DTs and one true frosh MLB all of whom are going to be NFL blue chips - try to stop Arkansas' run game with that jumbo sized line and one of the most underrated RBs in CFB last season.

Individually, they may not be the best but as a unit (the OL + RB) they were brutal.
