After an 0-fer SEC season we chose Gus Malzahn over Petrino because we wouldn't touch that. There is no way we hire Art Briles who did something much worse.
Plus, Art Briles never coached/played at Auburn so he doesn't meet minimum job requirements

Because MalZahn was the logical choice by far over Petrino.Hell,
he was the reason for NC in 2010.
