Apparently Ole Miss has recently ripped up their shitty looking turf and gone back to grass. I think now that only leaves Arkansas and Vandy playing on turf now in the SEC...sad. To me, classic Southern football has to be played with great stadium lights and especially on grass. it just looks so much better on tv. Plus it's softer and doesn't turn into an oven in hot weather.

Nutt was an idiot, but he gave Arkansas their best uniforms ever and made the field look as good as it could. Damn shame Bobby destroyed it all in a matter of a couple years.

Grass always starts looking like shite late in the year. Don't care.

I've never understood why folks care one way or the other. It's not like it's 1970's Astro turf anymore.

Grass fields have fewer significant foot/ankle injuries.

Just made this up, no idea if true.

Go back and watch the Tennessee game. Multiple plays impacted by the shitty condition of the grass field. Do not want.
