He went to JC with the coach. Coach was doing a buddy a favor until he realized the buddy was way to much of a headache. Pulls offer. He didn't apply and become the most qualified. He hasn't coached in like 8 years and was an assistant middle school coach when he did.

This is the most successful school in MS football history. Trust me. There were more qualified applicants.

You have to admit, though. Coach34 coaching at South Panola would have made great television. All parties involved missed out on a reality show paycheck.

A) I was called by him when he heard I was looking because he needed a good coach. We had coached against each other numerous times

B) I have at no time been a middle school assistant coach. I coached HS for 13 years- 2 as a HC, 6 more more as an OC.

C) There was nobody close to me in qualifications and why he focused completely on me once he heard I was available. He was looking for some new offensive concepts to add to his offense
