I'm 26 and thats what I'm thinking an opportunity like this doesn't happen a lot. I'm fortunate to have it happen when I don't have major bills or a family to provide for bc then a career change is tough. And I guess coaching equates to leadership skills on a resume.

If you don't mind the pay cut and see it as something you might enjoy for a year or even as a new career I say go for it. You're young enough where taking off a year to try something new likely isn't going to hurt you. Hell, the experience might even help you in the job market later.

I don't know of any employer that treats working with young people and leading a team as a negative.
