Which should scare the shite out of you.

Why?

Since AJ graduated, an athlete that bounced around positions led Bama to a SEC title and playoff berth. Then in 2015 the guy who couldn't beat that athlete and looked lost and indecisive in 2014 led Bama to a national title.

Here's a news flash. Brandon Avalos ain't walking through that door. Every QB on the roster is a 4* or better and would probably start for any team in the west except Ole Miss. If the staff (who should have earned the benefit of the doubt by now) decides the guy that is so fast he was tried at WR to get the ball in his hands and responsible/reliable enough to have been trusted with the holding job for two years is the guy to lead the offense then I ain't worried one bit and you shouldn't be either.

You guys act like players don't improve. Sims looked like garbage his whole career until his senior year. Coker the same until almost halfway through his senior year. Bateman was a sophomore last year getting his first playing time, of course he's going to get better. Agree he needs to get his confidence up, work on deep ball and run when there's room, but I'm betting Kiffin can get him there. If not, he'll get one of the other guys there.
