Bateman starts the year. This is the season the "safe" bet at QB bites us in the arse. We drop at least one game due to QB play. Bateman may not finish the year under center. We all know the criticisms on Cooper.
Barnett didn't blossom over the past year. Blame that on whoever or whatever you like, but SuperFrosh hasn't grasped the helm. Or the playbook.
Cornwell is just lost.
Hurts is the latest greatest thing and is SO athletic. He makes you drool when you think potential. But is he ready to handle the SEC as a freshman? Doubtful.

Every year we get up in arms about how limited our starting QB is going to be, and every year that player ends up blowing us away.
There's no reason to be as pessimistic as some are in here. Whoever our QB is, that player is going to be amazing.
