Best in the league? Sure. Carrying the league? Absolutely not. The rest of the league has just as many National Titles and more combined Championship Game appearances. You've got to be well over 50% to say you are "carrying the league."

Not to mention the "strength" of the conference gave Alabama a title shot in 11 after they couldn't win the conference
Seems like the strength of the SEC carried Alabama that year.
Instead of thanking the SEC they want us to thank them for "carrying" us. The SEC was winning that title no matter what
Thank you Alabama, We likely only have 8 instead of 9 of the last 13 NCs without you. We'd be the doormat of the power 5
