It's also the only time 2600 yards and 12 TDs has ever been called great QB play. The SECr is a funny place. Quick timeline of September 2015-Present:
September 2015: "Les cannot develop QBs. I mean, just look at all the poor play."
January 2016: "Man, LSU fans sure are crazy for firing a coach with 3 division, 2 conference and 1 national title all while averaging 10 wins per season."
Present: "Miles can't win with anything other than great QB play."
You can't overstate the mental gymnastics being achieved here.

If you think folks would have legitimately called for his head with LSU going 11-1, with the only loss being to Bama, then idk if there's any help for you.
