My definition of consistently was going back to the original title of the post as I state, which was winning the SEC. Richt won the SEC consistently for a while, Spurrier won the SEC consistently for a while, just to give you and example.

Richt won it twice. Les Miles has won it twice. Same number of years.

Also, Richt had pretty consistent QB play throughout his time at UGA and Spurrier had outstanding QB play when he was winning the conference. Are you trying to look better or worse? You're achieving the latter.

The fact that they did is to their recruiting and coaching credit. The fact that Les hasn't had a measure of quality QB play also speaks to his recruiting and coaching (or, at least to his asst coach hiring/meddling in that area).

Using Richt was a poor example, that is why I changed it to the east. He won the east consistently for a while. Spurrier is a great example though, but he did have great qb play. My point remains valid though, Miles hasn't won the SEC consistently, mainly due to Saban.
