It was. They were originally supposed to do the home and home with Penn State in the early 2000s, but Penn State agreed to postpone it after Alabama got slammed with probation over the Means scandal. That was very kind thing for PSU to do.

I hate neutral site games. They've happened so many years in a row now that they're just dull. Would like to see a quality OOC opponent in BDS for a change.

Completely agree. We do it for basketball and I don't care at all as well. Give season ticket holders some actual value. As a third party I will be watching Alabama - Penn State anyway (unless Kentucky is on obviously) but I would much rather see them go to Ttown or y'all play them in State College. It's just a better environment.
